Collection of four short stories, most of which first published in Wilson and Some Others in 1940. Including, ‘Birthday Gifts’, ‘The Motive’, ‘A Tale of Two Suitcases’, and ‘Glass’. A very good copy, light wear to extremities of jacket, tape along the top edge of the inside of the jacket, seemingly for reinforcement rather than repair. Neat contemporary ownership inscription to front free endpaper.
