Second edition of this scarce emigrant's guide to the Canadian province of Nova Scotia. The Preface states that the demand was so high for the first edition that "the Government decided to issue another edition." The Introduction claims Nova Scotia is no place for idleness or loafers, but that "an industrious man can do well." The folding map is titled, "Mackinlay's Map of the Province of Nova Scotia, Including the Island of Cap Breton." Scarce, with only fourteen total copies in OCLC.
