Poetry devoted to the Apache chief Geronimo by a writer of Cree ancestry. The afterword notes that Fallis lived in Silver City, New Mexico, and alongside his poetry also translated Indian myths, legends and rituals. The Blue Cloud Quarterly was a literary magazine which focused entirely on Native American and First Nations writers, published by Roman Catholic monks in South Dakota. Published between 1955 and 1988, the quarterly began its focus on Indigenous writers in 1968 under the editorship of Br. Benet Tvedten, OSB.
