AN ADDRESS, DELIVERED AT CONCORD, N. H. JANUARY 8, 1828, BEING THE THIRTEENTH ANNIVERSARY OF JACKSON'S VICTORY AT NEW-ORLEANS. A commemorative address celebrating Andrew Jackson's victory at the Battle of New Orleans by Isaac Hill, author of a biography of Jackson published by the same printers in the same year. Clearly intended as a Presidential campaign event, the program includes short speeches in praise of Jackson from three other New Hampshire locals, J.B. Thornton, Nathan B. Felton, and J.M. Harper. John Quincy Adams won virtually all of New England in the 1828 presidential election, and this address is uncommon evidence of a pro-Jackson rally in Adams's home territory. American Imprints locates three New Hampshire printings, with no priority noted. Scarce.
