Russia This rare little map, probably taken from an example of Seller's 'Atlas Minimus', began life as a playing card (only one known set), the III of the Europe suit, but was quickly re-engraved to form part of a little pocket atlas, the 'Atlas Minimus' presumably aimed at the education market, perhaps the earliest British cartographic publication so designed. Engraved map, with the associated description table; centrefold restored, bottom right hand corner re-instated, with small loss. Phillips 490.
