RUSSIA The map was first engraved for Johannes Janssonius, but this state was published in London for Moses Pitt's 'The English Atlas', published in conjunction with Janssonius' heirs. Pitt went bankrupt before the atlas was completed so the atlas, and individual maps are scarce. Hand-coloured, double-page engraved map sheet, incorporating three sections, forming a continuous strip-map of the river from source to sea; centrefold restored.
