A picture-book of Manchuria produced for the South Manchuria Railway Company. This company was founded just after the Russo-Japanese war in 1906 and it operated a wide variety of commercial enterprises as well as social services for Japanese immigrants in Manchuria. 2601 refers to the number of years after the enthronement of the first Emperor of Japan.
