no date circa 1940s . Children's Adventure Artwork ORIGINAL PAINTING 38 x 57cm . Gouache painted directly onto a Winsor & Newton Fashion-Plate Drawing Board, details printed on reverse. A little rubbed, chipped and bumped to edges, but clean and bright generally. Very good. An original painting produced by Leslie Stead, or one of the members of 'Studio Stead,' believed for a Biggles title, but apparently never published. Winsor and Newton's art
