KIRCHEN=FORMULARIEN DER EVANGELISCH=REFORMIRTEN GEMEINEN. Liturgical work for the German Reformed Church printed by Michael Billmeyer in Germantown. In 1784, Peter Leibert (1727-1812) and his son-in-law, Michael Billmeyer (1752-1837), took up printing in Germantown where Christoph Saur, Jr. had left off, using what they could from the Saur shop. After about three years in partnership, Leibert and Billmeyer split the firm, and Billmeyer went on to become one of the foremost German printers in America, printing well into the 19th century.
