The second French edition of Vathek. The first edition in French, published in Lausanne, had been a rushed publication by Beckford after he found out that Henley had published the English edition without his permission. This Paris edition was heavily revised by Beckford and published a few months later in the same year. A very good copy, some spotting to prelims.
