MINUTES OF THE CONVENTION OF DELEGATES, MET TO CONSULT ON MISSIONS, IN THE CITY OF CINCINNATI, A.D. 1831. [with]: A REPORT OF THE MINORITY IN THE CONVENTION ON DOMESTIC MISSIONS, HELD IN CINCINNATI, ... Two scarce Midwestern imprints on the Presbyterian missions in the West, from the convention held at Cincinnati in November 1831. "Difficulties having arisen in many parts of the Presbyterian Church, and particularly in the Synods of 'Ohio, Cincinnati, Kentucky, Tennessee, West Tennessee, Indiana, and Illinois,' in consequence of the separate action of the Board of Missions of the General Assembly of the Presbyterian Church, and of the American Home Missionary Society, on the same field, a convention of delegates, from presbyteries connected with the above-named synods, was appointed to be held in Cincinnati, on the 23rd of November, 1831." Bound with the minutes is the minority report, published in Cincinnati: "The minority of that convention, feeling dissatisfied with its decisions, appointed a committee to draw up a statement of facts with which they deemed it important that their absent brethren should be made acquainted. The following report is the result of that appointment." Both are scarce, and of interest in regard to Indian missions.
