Giorgio Sommer (1834-1914) was born in Germany but set up a studio in Naples. He mainly produced topographical views of Italy, for sale in album form. Albumen print. Good tonal range and in good condition, pasted on card, photographer's number and title in negative; slight fading round the edges.
