Sticka efter Svenska Mönster: Traditional Swedish Patterns for Knitting by Karin Kahnlund. This is a beautiful book and not an easy one to find as it seems knitters are holding on to their copies. "The book begins with general advice about knitting and yarn quality, followed by instructions for a number of garments, including cardigans, sweaters, mittens and legwarmers for children and adults. Explanations with drawings and colour diagrams make knitting easier. The author has been inspired by traditional folklore patterns from the book Swedish Patterns for Art Weaves and Embroidery, by Jakob Kulle." This book is written in both Swedish and English. Swedish in the first section, English in the second section. There are multiple color photos in the Swedish section and only single photos in the English section but you should not have any trouble finding the pattern you choose. There are also some basic knitting instructions at the beginning of each section but I would not recommend this book for beginning knitters. Though I also believe that you should aim high when you are learning something new. CONDITION: Previously owned in very good, clean condition. No writing, no underlining, no dog-eared pages. There is some light wear to the hard cover. The cover corners are a bit bumped as are the edges of the cover. Soup not included. Thanks so very much for stopping by!
