The first German translation, and first appearance in book form, of Tarksi’s introductory work On Mathematical Logic and the Deductive Method, originally published in the previous year in Polish across three issues of the journal Bibljoteczka Matematyczn. A revised and expanded English edition was published in 1940 under the title Introduction to Logic and to the Methodology of Deductive Sciences.
