A SCHEME FOR THE COALITION OF PARTIES, HUMBLY SUBMITTED TO THE PUBLICK. Pamphlet proposing a reform to the British system of government, intended to eliminate nepotism and restore peace and harmony in the Parliament. Among other things, Jenyns proposes that all the offices be written on slips of paper and thrown into an urn, whereupon selection for office shall take place by randomly drawing the slips out of the urn. Jenyns was a supporter of the Stamp Act and an ardent advocate of the Crown's right to tax the colonies.
