A collection of 41 pieces of Apollinaire’s early work and unpublished poems, as well as accounts of key painters and writers of the period - among them Picasso, Matisse, Jarry, Fort. The preface by Ramon Gomez de la Serna is translated by Jean Cassou. Apollinaire’s work strongly influenced the development of the Ultraist movement in Spain, of which de la Serna was a key proponent.
