A complete edition in good condition of the plays of Terence, with commentary and prefatory letter by French philologist Vincent Cordé (Vincentius Cordatus). Following final concluding remarks is a poem dedicated to the Aldine anchor. Interlinear notes in brown ink, in Latin, on f.74r, and in lighter ink and different (older) hand on ff.202v-203r. Bookplate of Robert Ball in front paste-down, and ‘R. Ball’, dated 1959, pencilled on front endpapers.
