This book is quite uncommon. There ae several chapters on the Russo Afghan Bounday Commission, also material on the Pamirs and Baluchistan. Col. Samuel Miles’s copy, he wrote the “The ribes of the Persian Gulf”, with his signature and with the Bath public library stamp commemorating his ownership.
