Very detailed chart of the coast of modern Belize Guatemala and Honduras from Salamanca de Bacalar to Patook Point (Barra Patuca) on the ‘Moskito Coast’, with the Gulf of Honduras central. The chart marks the coastal islands, with shoals, soundings, sailing directions and tracks for navigable routes through the shoals. In the Yucatan Peninsula, the map shows “The Logwood Cutters”, a reference to the trade in Honduran mahogany and rosewood. Sellers Van Ee, 2131.
