The scarce final Massachusetts almanac compiled by Daniel George, who compiled New England almanacs published in various New England towns between 1776 and 1787. In addition to the calendar for the year, the almanac includes a variety of readings and notices. The latter include a list of the annual meetings of the Friends; vacations at Harvard; times and places for various courts held in Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Rhode Island, and Connecticut; and roads from Boston to the principle towns on the continent, "with the names of those who keep houses of entertainment." A scarce late 18th-century New England almanac, NAIP records four copies.
