WATSON'S CONNECTICUT ALMANACK, FOR THE YEAR OF OUR LORD, 1777.... The third and last of Watson's Connecticut almanacs, printed during the second year of the American Revolution, with calculations attributed by Evans to Nehemiah Strong. In addition to the calendar, the almanac contains verse, various lists and tables, observations on the trajectories of artillery and firearms, a discussions of seven historical and geographic curiosities (accompanied by anti-British and patriotic notes), mathematical problems, and a "short account of the Independent State of Switzerland."
