Autograph letter signed, arranging a concert. Autograph letter signed from the folk singer Earl Robinson to the journalist and peace campaigner Ray Gardner (1919-1997), arranging a performance, probably related to the peace movement. Robinson will fly into Seattle and send details ahead, asking Gardner to find him a guitar to borrow, and a piano too, preferable a grand on spinet type so he can face the audience while singing. Robinson offers a 40-minute rendition of Sandhog, his folk musical written with Waldo Salt when both were blacklisted. He will bring along recordings of Sandhogs to autograph for extra money for the cause, and hopes to meet the youth group.
