Contains, on pp.15-21, the first Congressional printing of the 1822 commerce and navigation treaty with France, the first after the Louisiana Purchase treaty. Also included are several reports on the military with accompanying tables, one showing troop distribution in the Western Department. Another report details the captures of various "piratical vessels." OCLC locates only four copies, AMERICAN IMPRINTS adds two more. Scarce.
