THE VOYAGE OF COMMODORE ANSON, ROUND THE WORLD. An early 19th-century printing of one of the most popular nautical narratives of the 18th century. This Dublin edition contains interesting engraved plates, including a penguin, and the "manner of catching the wild bull." "This compilation has long occupied a distinguished position as a masterpiece of descriptive travel" - Hill. OCLC locates only four copies of this scarce edition.
