MEMOIRS OF ANDREW SHERBURNE: A PENSIONER OF THE NAVY OF THE REVOLUTION. The author, a native of Portsmouth, New Hampshire, served in the Continental Navy as a boy and saw considerable action. In 1781 he was taken prisoner and sent to Old Mill Prison, where he became ill before finally being returned to America. He lived in Maine until 1818, when he moved to Ohio.
