Scarce sale catalogue, annotated throughout with prices and buyers’ names in a contemporary hand; we find only two copies in North American libraries. The consigners of this sale’s contents have not been clearly established, the title-page of this copy bears a manuscript note suggesting that “M. de B***” was “Bertinval,” possibly a member of the noble family
