A detailed report from state geologist E.T. Cox, who drew the accompanying maps. Provides an analysis of the geological make-up of the several counties of the state, as well as a description of the mammals and birds found in Franklin County. The excellent maps are of Greene, Vermillion, and Clay counties, and the colored section is of the geological formations from Greene County to Terre Haute.
