HAVANA SCHEME!! SHELBY COLLEGE LOTTERY OF KENTUCKY. An advertisement for a lottery to be drawn in Covington, Kentucky. The scheme for the lottery is based on what the producers call the "Royal Havana Plan of Single Numbers." The base prize winners are determined by the last digit in the number that wins the grand prize. For example, if the winning number ends in "1," then all ticket holders with numbers also ending in "1" win the base prize. Each chance costs a prohibitive ten dollars. Quite rare, OCLC locating only one copy.
