Scarce account of the Stairs Expedition to visit Msidi’s country west of Lake Bangweole. Assisted at every turn by the Germans the expedition reached Lake Tanganyika and made its way quickly to Ngwena. They found Katanga in a state of chaos resulting from Msidi’s death.
