A Pictorial Souvenir and History of the 1st Battalion Lincolnshire Regiment, Poona, India, 1909.
£500 · Offered by Maggs Bros Ltd
Inscription verso of the title page reads, “This souvenir of the Lincolnshire Regt. was sent by Uncle Arthur to Mother from India. Mother gave this to me on the 15th of October 1935. A.W. Sanderson.” A paper label on the spine records that it was presented to the Regimental Museum by Mrs. E. Sanderson. A particularly nice example of these Indian Regimental souvenirs, loosely inserted at the rear is a mounted photographic group portrait of “Corporals 1st Battalion Lincolnshire Regiment, Tipperary, 1921.”
