ALASKAN BOUNDARY TRIBUNAL. BRITISH ATLAS MAPS AND CHARTS ACCOMPANYING THE CASE OF GREAT BRITAIN. This atlas contains maps detailing the British case in the arbitration with the United States over the Alaskan boundary. Many of the maps are earlier historically important works by Vancouver, Bouchette, Arrowsmith, Langsdorff, etc. A boundary was established by a six-member tribunal of British, Canadian, and United States representatives, including then-Secretary of War Elihu Root. This is the first detailed mapping of much of this area.
