A fine example of Rodney Player’s work, a life-like rendering of the rearing horse and rider, but with no sacrifice of detail in the superbly worked uniform and accoutrements. This painting was commissioned by Maggs Bros. Ltd from Mr. Player who is happy to entertain similar commissions relating to the Regiments of the British Army from c.1750 to the present day.
