REVOLUTION DE L'AMERIQUE. Probably the first edition of this so-called unauthorized printing of an excerpt from the Abbe Raynal's Histoire Philosophique et Politique. In a lengthy note about this bibliographically perplexing title, Adams lists the present printing as the apparent first edition. Howes gives Geneva as a probable place of publication, while Adams asserts the work was printed in England. "Intended to supplement the author's earlier history of European trade in the two Indies. An enterprising printer secured the manuscript and without consent issued simultaneous English and French editions" - Howes.
