A scenic view over the valley with a windmill on the right side and the hills of Judaean Desert in the background. The spring of Gihon considered to be part of the Kidron Valley. It was the main source of water for the Pool of Siloam in Jebus and the later City of David (ancient Jerusalem). Albumen print. 217 x 278 mm. Good tonal range and in good condition, pasted on original card, photographer's credit, title and number in negative.
