Miniatures. A Series of Reproductions in Colour and Photogravure of Ninety-eight Miniatures of Distinguished Personages Deluxe limited edition, number 13 of 100 copies signed by the artist (1846-1932). He cultivated a wealthy clientele, painting numerous portraits of the British royal family and aristocracy, and exhibited as a miniature painter at the Royal Academy and Society of Arts 1873-1932.Turrell also exhibited regularly in New York, where, amongst others, he painted the Vanderbilt and Pierpoint Morgan families.
