Fine original watercolour by a noted bird artist. Trained as a military draftsman in Copenhagen, Grönvold first worked as an artist to the Danish Biological Research station. He arrived in London in 1892, where he was appointed to the London Natural History Museum, preparing and mounting bird skeletons.
