In addition to Rosse’s Medical and Anthropological Notes which provide an interesting insight into the native people of Alaska, as viewed in the late nineteenth century, there are two further pieces which make up this work: Botanical Notes on Alaska by John Muir and Birds of Bering Sea and the Arctic Ocean by E.W.
