Capital: A Critique of Political Economy. Mixed edition of the first complete English translation of Marx's polemical masterpiece. This set is printed from stereotype plates, rendering the date of printing difficult to pin down. To the best of our knowledge, volume I is the 1906 edition, volume III the 1909 edition, and volume II the later 1933 edition. Untermann's landmark translation was first published between 1906 and 1909, and remained the standard reference work for half a century. The three parts were originally published in German in 1867, 1885 and 1894 respectively.
