Dalīl al-taqsīmāt al-'idārīya wa l-'ihsā'īya lilta'dād al-'eām lilsukkān wa l-iskān wa l-munshāt Rare first edition of this guide to the administrative divisions of the seven United Arab Emirates, intended for state officials working on the federal housing census for the year 1995, which had been periodically carried out since 1968.Each chapter is devoted to one emirate, beginning with a map and an introduction on the use of the land for habitation, the nature of the local economy, and urban expansion, followed by tables listing the numbered spatial subdivisions of the territory under the jurisdictions of specific police stations. The tables separate the inhabitants of the city from those of the surrounding villages and rural areas. In the appendix are a few blank template forms with tables to be filled by the census officials with data such as the house number, type of habitation, number of storeys, and number of inhabitants, in each and every street.
