WHAT IS A CHAPBOOK? A chapbook is what used to be referred as a chapter book. Often a publisher would put out a sample chapter from a forthcoming book. It might be anywhere from 4 to 64 pages in length. Hence, the word chapbook. Our chapbooks are short stories (and in a few cases non-fiction pieces) from the authors who we publish in what could best be described as a pamphlet-format stapled like magazine rather than perfect bound like our hardcover books.
