Browne Phiz ; bound without the half-title in later half polished blue calf over marbled boards, red morocco label on gilt-paneled spine, a.e.g.; the frontis is rather browned, the other plates variously spotted; all else very good and sound. This edition contains a Preface by the author that was not included in the first edition of 1845 in 3 volumes.
