Beautiful vintage collector’s portfolio featuring 12 large-format reproduction botanical prints after the famous works of French botanical artist Pierre-Joseph Redouté (1759–1840), often called the “Raphael of Flowers.” Published in 1989 by Prentice Hall Press / Aurum Press in association with Swallow Publishing. The set includes a decorative marbled portfolio case with ribbon ties, the original informational booklet, and 12 individual floral art prints reproduced from Redouté’s celebrated works Les Roses and Les Liliacées. The prints feature elegant botanical studies of roses and flowers with rich detail and soft hand-colored style typical of Redouté’s artwork. These are highly decorative and ideal for framing, interior décor, or botanical art collections.
