A collection of post-war food labels. A collection of vibrant wrappers for bento lunch boxes sold in train stations across Japan. The labels originate from as far north as Sapporo and Hakodate through to as far south as Hiroshima, advertising local delicacies such as sweets, seafood, roasted chestnuts, sandwiches, and rice dishes. Many are stamped with the exact date and time of the food's production.
