Lustra. First edition, abridged trade issue, from the collection of the poet Christopher Logue (1926-2011) with his ownership inscription on the front free endpaper.Lustra is "recognised as marking a significant epoch, a point of transition in Pound's development as a poet" (Wilson, p. 60). The publishers, cautious of suppression, ruled to omit nine poems and censor one title. The "almost unabridged" issue was limited to 200 copies and only available upon request.
