In Our Time. First US edition, in the first issue jacket, of one of the most important short story collections in 20th-century literature.The collection was first published in Paris, as in our time, by Robert McAlmon's Contact Editions in 1924; the slim, 32-page volume was issued in a small edition of 170 copies sold at Shakespeare and Company. Hemingway significantly expanded in our time for the present edition, adding new short stories and reworking the vignettes.
