Signed and inscribed by the author on the title page: “David Rollinson/Nevis / Feb 21, 2004.” Laminated pictorial hardcover boards with green spine, color photographic train and sugar-cane field cover design, illustrated endpapers, color and black-and-white photographs, and maps by Richard Morris. Condition: Light shelf wear, rubbing, and scuffing to boards, with mild bumping and wear at corners and spine ends. Boards have a very slight curve/warp. Pages show slight natural toning at edges. Faintly musty. Binding sound. Illustrated study of railway systems throughout the Caribbean, including operating, abandoned, standard-gauge, and narrow-gauge lines across Caribbean islands and related regions. The book covers sugar-cane railways, logging and mineral lines, passenger transport, street cars, and related railway history.
