Offered is this vintage, 1957 First Edition hardcover book titled "Exploration of Space by Radio" by R. Hanbury Brown and A.C.B. Lovell, published by Chapman and Hall. The book is hardbound in dark blue cloth-covered boards with 207 pages including Index. Binding is tight and secure. The only departure from a designation of "Fine" is the presence of sunning to the spine and along the top edge of the front board. The book is well-illustrated with both photos and diagrams. It measures 10 by 6-1/4 inches and weighs 1.8 lbs. The fact that this book is from a USAF library in 1957 seems to this seller to be a wonderful feature - coming to us from the infancy of space exploration.
