German opera composer (1864-1949), one of the greatest of the 20th century, whose best-known works are Elektra , Salome , and Der Rosenkavalier . An original pencil drawing of him signed and inscribed by Strauss in New York, 1922. Size is 10.8 x 13.8 inches, minor stains, in very good condition.
