Small quarto (250 x 183 mm), later quarter morocco over marbled papered boards, spine lettered in gilt; pp. 68, with a photographic frontispiece plate; original upper wrapper bound in at rear; an excellent copy. This work is an investigation into the historical presence of Luís de Camões (1524 or 1525-1580) in Macau. The poet spent two years there in 1563-64, as Superintendent for the Dead and Missing, before returning to Goa.
