A charming and unique manuscript map of the world on Mercator s projection, with detailed decorative border and original hand colour. The continents are presented in outline hand colour and the map is annotated Elson House Academy . The manuscript is extensively annotated with the names of various places and some extensions of the Antarctic continent. A fine Victorian period artwork by a talented amateur cartographer.
